This week Year 1 Pearls had some special virtual visitors from Battersea Library. The visitors led an exciting online workshop using old maps, photographs and songs to explore the history of our local area. The Pearls discovered that there was once a stream and waterfall on Northcote Road which is now part of the underground sewers, and that our school was once surrounded by fields growing asparagus!
