To finish our Science topic with a bang, and put into practice all that we had learnt about the structure of volcanoes, we built our own volcanoes out of clay before making them erupt using bicarbonate of soda, food colouring and vinegar. It was brilliant fun to be able to see our learning come to life in such a foamy and rather smelly way!
