Great excitement has been flowing through the corridors of the Lower School. Ten chicken eggs were dispatched for hatching into Year 2’s welcoming hands. Within 48 hours four chicks had successfully pecked their way through their shells followed closely by the rest. Year 2 have learnt how to care for a chick through feeding, watering, cleaning and handling on a daily basis. Year 2’s excellent parenting skills have ensured the chicks are ready to fly the nest!
