Last Thursday the Year 4 Emeralds had the best time on their trip to Butser Ancient Farm. Here, we travelled back in time, immersing ourselves in the Anglo-Saxon and Viking time periods. We had so much fun spinning our own yarn, excavating as archaeologists, sewing Anglo Saxon runic letters and carving our own lucky talismans – just like the Vikings would have done! We will certainly never forget what it was like to live in those days.
