On Monday, it was the Year 3 Rubies’ last lesson learning about Russia: but this was no ordinary lesson. We had a special visitor in the form of Vova from Year 6 who came to share his experiences of his life in Russia before coming to Dolphin. He was full of interesting information and spoke with clarity and confidence. This was followed by a leap into the world of Russian cuisine. Vova’s mother had very generously cooked some Vatrushkas for us to sample! We thoroughly enjoyed tasting them and are very thankful for the time she took to share her culinary skills with us.
