On a bright and sunny Wednesday, our Year 1 Pearls escaped the normal school routine to experience a morning of being a farm child. Although it was just around the corner in Vauxhall, the pupils were able to view an abundance of strange and interesting farm creatures. To extend our current Science topic of Animals, the children were able to partake in an engaging animal workshop and wander past the tremendous range of animal enclosures. From patting the fluffy-headed Polish chickens, to feeding the gawky goats, the children had a sensational time.
