On Monday afternoon, a troop of earnest zoologists hunted through our secret garden to identify invertebrates living in their natural habitats. Carefully lifting logs and peering through the foliage, the explorers were able to examine the micro-habitats and retrieve spineless specimens for observation.
Using a variety of highly sophisticated tools and an identification key, the pupils were able to sketch and successfully name a variety of the creatures before returning them home. Supersonic science Year Four – well done!
