Year 2 had a wonderful trip to Brighton last Thursday relating to their humanities unit on The Seaside. We visited the Royal Brighton Pavillion built by George IV. The children were very impressed by the size and number of rooms – we even found out that originally there were nine kitchens! We then walked to the beach and along the pier. We were very lucky to have beautiful weather and delicious ice creams.
