Our curious Year 4 historians trotted off to The Museum of London on Monday. There, they investigated the different stages of our prehistoric home town in the ‘London Before London’ gallery, actively locating artefacts and diligently recording their findings in a chronological fashion. There was even an iron age shield from Battersea! Following this, they were treated to a shadow puppet show of our topic and were actually allowed to handle replicas of historical objects and prehistoric artefacts which were thousands of years old!
