Year 4’s Geography lesson was unexpectedly interrupted by a lost mountaineer on Monday afternoon. Somehow, he had managed to end up in our classroom whilst searching for a mountain to climb. Fortunately, our curious and caring pupils were able to offer him a chair and help him focus on where, when and why he climbs mountains, what equipment he may need and who is responsible for caring for the mountain environment. Soon, he felt better and trotted off to find his next climb. Thank you Mr Mountaineer (aka Mr Anderson), you were a wealth of information and we wish you well up there.
