On Monday 4 February, Year 6 took part in a one-day workshop on teamwork, leadership and enterprise. The pupils started the morning with team dynamics by building towers with masking tape, spaghetti and marshmallows. They were invited to reflect on how they participated in their teams and how they could improve on their interpersonal skills.
The pupils were introduced to the basics of business and learned how to market, develop, create a brand and to price a new healthy snack product.
They finished the day by presenting their finished product and their advertisements to the class. This empowered each and every one of them to start developing their own products to raise money for the forthcoming Lenten charity project.
