This week Year 2 have really enjoyed travelling back in time with Florence Nightingale. Miss Nightingale taught us about a time when cameras had only just been invented, manners and posture were of the utmost importance and diseases were spreading like wildfire. Florence gave us her top tips on keeping healthy which included good food, fresh air and clean water. She also taught us the nursing skills required to dress soldiers’ wounds carefully, and educated us on the conditions needed to keep a hospital safe from infection.
