Our Year 4 pupils were enlisted by the Venetian ambassador to act as spies in the Tudor court last week. They set off early and journeyed by coach to Hampton Court Palace where they explored King Henry VIII’s jousting grounds, gardens and kitchens before embarking on their secret digital mission through the great hall and his private apartments. They even spied a replica of his dazzling crown and have returned, saturated with knowledge to pass on to the Doge. Well done Year 4, you acted with great stealth and made us proud – Henry will never guess you were there.
