The pupils in 4CR had turns to disrupt the learning taking place in their classroom. They recorded words to describe how their minds felt and displayed them in the cracks of their shattered portraits. The next day, the pupils wrote poems of peace and published these on plasters to mend their broken minds – if you look carefully you might spot personification or even perhaps a metaphor.

Year 4GH celebrated Peace Week by thinking about what peace means to them. They wrote thoughtful poems which reflected our discussions, and considered how constant peace can be when we know God’s love. We also made poppies to represent the peace after fighting ceased in 1918.
