In Geography Year 2 Sapphires have been studying the United Kingdom. As a part of this, they have been eating some popular national foods such as Scottish shortbread and Welsh cakes. This week was Year 2’s chance to put on their chef hats and have a go at baking their own traditional English scones. The scones went down a treat, especially as they were served with a generous layer of strawberry jam (made from British strawberries of course).
