Outdoor Learning at Dolphin School, London. Wandsworth Common

Fees

As a charitable trust foundation, not private equity, we seek to keep our fees and additional costs low. Any income the school earns is reinvested back into the children’s education, through staffing and resourcing the curriculum.

The Acceptance Deposit is payable in order to secure a place. The Acceptance Deposit is retained by Dolphin School until the pupil leaves with the balance being off-set against the first term’s fees. If the place is not taken up then the whole deposit is forfeited. Parents are advised to adhere to the correct notice period, as specified in our Terms and Conditions.

SIBLING DiScount

From the academic year 2027/28, a sibling discount of 5% is available for the second sibling and 10% for the third and subsequent siblings. These discounts apply only while all relevant siblings remain enrolled at the school.

INCLUDED IN OUR FEES

We keep our fees straightforward and generous in what they cover, because we want every child to be able to join in the core experiences. Tuition and specialist teaching, all the materials and technology of a modern classroom, sport and outdoor learning, and full guidance through 11+ and senior-school choices are all part of the fee. So too are early-bird drop-off and a selection of staff-led lunchtime and after-school clubs, alongside the personalised learning and pastoral support that sit at the heart of a Dolphin education.

Certain items are charged separately: uniform, lunches, residential trips, premium or externally provided clubs, instrumental music lessons, and any individually commissioned specialist support.

Fee Assistance

Dolphin School may be in a position to offer assistance to children whose family would not normally be able to afford the full school fees and who, it is felt, would particularly benefit from an education at the School.  In line with the Christian foundation of Dolphin School, special consideration for bursary places may be given to children of clergy, missionaries and charity leaders. In some circumstances, support can be given to children from homes with a low income. Assistance may be awarded following a completed application form, means test and an interview with the School’s Bursar and Governor responsible for assistance recommendations. For further information please contact our School Bursar (finance@dolphinschool.org.uk)

Notice of Withdrawal

If you wish to withdraw your child from Dolphin School, you must give one full term’s written notice to the Head, submitted on or before the first day of the preceding term. Without this notice, the fees for the following term will still be payable in full. Please note that we are unable to make exceptions to this rule.
