Beyond the Curriculum

More to discover. More to become.

At Dolphin, the school day is only the beginning.

With well over 40 clubs and activities available across the week, children can explore interests, discover unexpected talents and pursue passions beyond the classroom. From sport and performing arts to coding, cookery, chess, debating and creative making, there is always something new to try.

Our programme brings together passionate Dolphin teachers and specialist external practitioners, giving children access to expertise across an extraordinary range of interests. Clubs led by our own teaching staff are free of charge.

Love. Wisdom. Truth. Sport & Adventure

From football, netball, cross country and circuits to dodgeball, dance and capoeira, children can develop their skills, stay active and discover the thrill of competition and teamwork.

Love. Wisdom. Truth. Creative & Performing Arts

The creative programme extends well beyond the curriculum. Children can take part in choirs, musical theatre, LAMDA, street dance, songwriting, drawing, art and clay, crochet and All Things Yarn, alongside many other opportunities to perform, make and create.

Love. Wisdom. Truth. Think, Make & Discover

For curious minds, there is plenty to get stuck into. Children can explore coding and Minecraft, robotics, The Inventors, Building Blocks, Design Technology, chess, debating, mythology, Latin and cookery.

Love. Wisdom. Truth. For Every Kind of Curiosity

Some children know exactly what they love. Others discover it by accident.

That is one of the joys of life at Dolphin. A child might arrive for football and discover a love of chess. They might join Lego Legacy and become fascinated by engineering. They might try a choir, pick up a crochet hook, step onto a stage or create their first original song.

We want children to leave Dolphin with more than a list of achievements. We want them to have found things they love.

Because a rich school life is not simply about what happens in lessons. It is about the people you meet, the things you try and the unexpected passions you discover along the way.
